First thing is first. STOP DOING THE BID LOW SELL HIGH Bull****, because your not making any money like that, and it messes up the good playing experience for everyone else. and you’ll learn when you start crafting that there’s noobs out there that does the same petty stuff to get by and never own a +1 peice of equipment in thier whole time playing FFXI.

start off making wood arrows until your level 4 this is straight profit, and low loss crafting. a good jump start to get you to level 4 so you can make bone arrows afterwards.

If you run out of gil before or at level 4 simply sell the arrows in the AH and make your money back.

at level 4 you can start making Bone Arrows with Synthesis Help.

Still this is really cheap, and turns a good profit.
Make bone arrows until your level 9, and once you reach level 8 talk to the guildmaster and become a recruit. after you made all the arrows you can, sell them and make some more profit. again this is an easy 10-50k job with enough mules in order.

once you reach level 9 it’s time to move on to bolts. Everyone needs crossbow bolts, and they sell fast just like the other arrows.

And Once you hit lvl 17 you can start making other arrows and still make huge profits.

Stop the Noobish tyrany, and start becoming a master of a guild.

Once you hit lvl 75 woodworking (Yes you still can make arrows up to lvl 75) you can make staves that sell for 200k each, and you’ll look back on how you use to camp the guilds for chumpchange and hide that secret even further in! ^^

BTW on that website i posted above, also has a crafting compass on it, which helps me HQ all my wood.

I can take 5 stacks of wind crystals and turn that into 30 stacks of lumber in which where i make my profit at.

I buy 100k worth of wood a day, and after i synth it into lumber, i sell it for 300k.
